Concert Rehearsals

For those of you who wish to take an active part in the evening's concert, final rehearsals will take place in the morning followed by a dress run in the early afternoon, hopefully leaving enough time for some light refreshment before the concert begins.
Anniversary Concert
Time: Doors at 3.30pm; Concert 4pm - 6.30pm
Venue: Cottiers Theatre, Hyndland
Sunday evening will form the focus of our birthday celebrations. A specially formed chorus of Cecilian members past and present will present a concert encapsulating the spirit of 60 years of Cecilian history, featuring a wide variety of musical styles and tastes - something for everyone.
Anniversary Dinner
Time: 7.30pm for 8pm
Venue: Hilton Grosvenor Hotel, Byres Road
Once the concert has concluded, there will be a brief interlude to allow for costume changes, after which we will convene for a formal dinner to conclude the weekend's festivities. A selection of speeches will be heard and the night's soundtrack will be provided by the wonderful DJ Toast. And after this, who knows where the Cecilian party will take us!
