Concert Rehearsal Schedule

Below is the rehearsal schedule for Sunday's Anniversary Concert. You can also download a copy to print and use as reference if you wish.

Please make an effort to be at whatever rehearsal you are attending on time, or even early! As you can see, the schedule is pretty packed, so we can't afford to be running over! Music will be provided, so all you really need to bring is a pen or pencil if you wish to make notes, and perhaps some refreshments to keep you going throughout the day, including plenty of water. You may also wish to look at the suggested dress code for the weekend.

All of the numbers scheduled in the first column (plus Luck Be A Lady) are open chorus - you can choose to take part in as many or as few of these as you wish, and thus attend the appropriate rehearsals. Hard Candy Christmas will be sung by a female chorus (plus the featured soloists determined from the auditions), and Luck Be A Lady by a male chorus (plus soloist) - hence why they are scheduled to be taught simultaneously.

Two of the Gilbert and Sullivan numbers will also require a small ensemble, namely the Major-General's Song (at 9am) and Ruler of the Queen's Navy (at 2pm). If you would rather take part in these numbers than the scheduled full-chorus numbers, please do so!

The other numbers are solos, duets, trios and small group numbers, and as such will be rehearsed in the rooms in the Music Department. These either have already had a cast recommended from early auditions held a few weeks ago, or will have a cast recommended based on auditions this coming Friday before the ceilidh.
